1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for programs, submitting forms, communicating with us, or using services provided by Spot Basketball DBA TQ Irvine ("TQ Irvine", "we", "our", or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our services.

These terms apply to all athletes, parents or guardians, coaches, applicants, and visitors who interact with our organization.

2. Program Participation

TQ Irvine provides basketball training, team programs, camps, clinics, and related athletic activities.

By registering an athlete for any program, you agree that:

  • All information provided during registration is accurate and complete.

  • The athlete will follow the rules, policies, and conduct expectations set by TQ Irvine and its coaches.

  • Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring athletes arrive on time and are properly equipped for practices and events.

TQ Irvine reserves the right to suspend or remove participants from programs for behavior that is unsafe, disruptive, or violates team policies.

3. Communication Consent (SMS, Email, and Phone)

By providing your contact information during registration or through our forms, you consent to receive communications from TQ Irvine, including:

  • Practice reminders

  • Schedule updates

  • Program announcements

  • Registration confirmations

  • Important organizational updates

These communications may be delivered via SMS/text message, email, or phone call.

Message frequency may vary depending on program activity.

Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier.

You may opt out of text messaging at any time by replying STOP to any SMS message.
For assistance, reply HELP.

Your consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing any service.

4. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information are governed by our Privacy Policy.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services (such as customer service or messaging platforms) is permitted only when necessary to operate our services.

All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

5. Payments and Fees

Certain programs, training sessions, camps, or team memberships may require payment.

By registering for a paid program, you agree to:

  • Pay all applicable fees

  • Follow the payment schedule provided

  • Understand that missed payments may affect participation

Refund policies may vary depending on the program and will be communicated at the time of registration.

6. Health and Safety

Participation in sports activities involves inherent physical risks. By enrolling in a TQ Irvine program, parents or guardians acknowledge and accept these risks.

Parents/guardians agree that:

  • The athlete is physically able to participate in basketball activities.

  • Any medical conditions or injuries will be disclosed prior to participation.

  • Emergency contact information will be kept up to date.

In case of injury or emergency, TQ Irvine staff may take reasonable action to seek medical care if a parent or guardian cannot be immediately reached.

7. Code of Conduct

All athletes, parents, and spectators are expected to demonstrate respectful behavior at all practices, games, and events.

The following behaviors may result in suspension or removal from programs:

  • Unsportsmanlike conduct

  • Harassment or bullying

  • Disrespect toward coaches, players, or staff

  • Disruptive behavior during practices or events

TQ Irvine reserves the right to enforce conduct policies to maintain a safe and positive environment.

8. Media and Photography

TQ Irvine may take photographs or videos during practices, games, and events for promotional or educational purposes, including use on:

  • Social media

  • Website content

  • Marketing materials

If you prefer that your athlete not appear in media content, please notify TQ Irvine in writing.

9. Third-Party Services

TQ Irvine may use third-party platforms to manage registrations, communications, scheduling, and payments. These providers are used solely to support our operations and are expected to maintain the confidentiality of your information.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Spot Basketball DBA TQ Irvine shall not be held liable for any injuries, damages, or losses arising from participation in programs, events, or activities, except where required by law.

Participation in athletic activities is voluntary and at the participant’s own risk.

11. Changes to Terms

TQ Irvine reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted with a revised effective date.

Continued use of our services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
